A Sonnet of Mystery

Daniel Personius
This poem, I fear is that which I do lack.

It annoys, destroys, and even sometimes kills.

It cannot be obtained with Dollar Bills,

It's only found quite off the Beaten Track.

It cannot be put In a Gunny Sack.

Yet it can give inexhaustible Thrills.

Cares not whether you're In Beverly Hills

Or reside in a simple, Rundown Shack.

Yet this has not depleted my life's Joy,

Nor my prosperity and Fulfillment.

It can impress a Damsel In Distress,

But has never made me a Whipping Boy

In life it is certainly no cement

What Is my Deficiency? Can't you guess?
