To cast this spell you will need something that signifies the lover. A locket of their hair works best, but if for some reason you can't get that you could use something that they gave to you, something that belongs to them, a picture of them, or anything that represents them. You will also need some dragon's blood incense which is really easy to find. When using dragon's blood incense some witches like to burn the actual herb over a piece of charcoal. I find that worrying about whether its lit or not is too much work so I just a plain old stick. Now you will also need two pieces of paper with black ink, a lighter or matches, and a fire proof container with water in it. On the paper take a couple hours reminiscing about the lover and writing all the things you loved about them. Next when you can't reminisce any longer, go outside with your ritual supplies and choose a place where you won't be disturbed. Choose a place where you can walk around and shout, even scream without anyone hearing you. Then set the supplies in the middle of the area you plan to work. If you are familiar with circle casting, simply cast your circle in the normal fashion. If not then follow these instructions for casting a circle.
With the hand that you write with pointed down walk the perimeter of the circle clockwise three times imagining a bubble of blue flame emitting from your hand surrounding the circle. Do this around your spell items and walk counter clockwise around the circle imagining the bubble disappearing when you are done with your spell. Next, light the incense praying to the god Cupid to take away your love and set it in the easternmost point in your circle. Now take the paper that you wrote all the things you loved about the person and imagine all of your love flowing out of your body into your hands. Then, light paper on fire chanting, "love Be gone away from me as I will so mote it be." Chant this thirteen times imagining yourself walking away from your lover. Throw the paper into the water and spit three times into it making yourself feel anger. Now take the other paper and write everything you hated or didn't like about this person. Take as much time as you need, and write as much as possible, that is absolutely essential. After you have filled the front and back of the paper, throw out the incense and put it into the water and close your circle with the prescribed method. Keep the paper under your pillow when you sleep for three days and then keep it in your closet. Never get rid of it. Make sure that you dispose of the burned paper off of your property, preferably at a crossroads or in the toilet.
