A Splash in the Pond

At times are we not
Just the mist of a splash?
So you whirled a big rock
And made a big noise.
Oh boy, or that a girl.

Fishermen know
More than is told
To the typical passer by.
Shut up; don't scare the fish.
Make your wish elsewhere.

Need I repeat myself?
What part of go
Do you not understand?
If you know how to bait a hook,
Fine,
But leave my line alone.
Go fishing in your own pond.

A response:
But I want to be your supervisor
And tell you what and how to do.
Impress someone else, Stub.
Shoo.
You ain't caught a fish,
But want credit for my catch.
Latch on to your mule and ride, Slide.
Leave this country boy alone.
Go.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

Stub and Slide is a unique way of saying this. Oh, how I wish we had people in DC like you then DC would stand for more than Duh Congress. :-)

Stub and Slide - love that! It is a nonsensical approach for the Dems to take in Wisconsin. I do admire the restraint that Gov. Walker has shown in his words and demeanor, and hope that it gets resolved soon. rcj

Scaring the fish away makes for a much lighter dinner.

A small splash can cause big ripples... Invisible if under the ice, but there none-the-less. Eloquent metaphor.
