Condescending words of contempt
Misguided notions of superiority
No longer propel you to speak
Silence
Scoffing staunch invariable affiliations
Spewing disdain from every orifice
Pretentious beliefs of dominance
Assumed position on the throne
Silence
Subsequent to the inevitable fall
Taunting expressions no longer flow
Ceased from deriding and ridicule
Abrupt halting of malicious scorns
Silence
A riveting hush has now fallen
Boasting and jeers cannot be heard
After the Lakers delivered their demise
All that remains is a SPURring silence

C-Love isn't for Celtics Love? OK, sorry. Actually this fan was all for the Lakers during the '80s, when they had Magic (who grew up in East Lansing 70 miles from Saginaw) and Showtime, but cannot get into Kobe, he is more of a ball hog. But NBA action is fantastic, and almost will hope L.A. wins on Tuesday so there is yet more action on Thursday. Almost but not quite. Garnett, Pierece and Allen all deserve rings, especially Pierce, he is sort of outshining Kobe so far. Right, D.A.? I will bet D.A. does sneak a peak sometimes. -- mike
