Just in time for Halloween shopping, these colorful seasonal offerings are a nice thing to pick up for trick-or-treaters or to have for Halloween parties. The shapes that are in this assortment include a witches hat, cat head, bat, triangle / candy corn, ghost and pumpkin. I am sure that other companies will cone out with other shapes (if they haven't already) but since these are stretchy bands you aren't really going to be able to appreciate them unless you have them off your wrist. I have not seen these in local stores yet; I ordered a couple packages from Oriental Trading Company and was more than impressed with the thickness of them and the way they retained their shape after being worn.
Each package contains fifty bands; you are not guaranteed to get an even assortment of shapes or colors so it is lucky dip. These might not be a great thing to toss in to trick-or-treat bags; I plan on having them in a large plastic container and letting kids pick one out along with a candy treat if they want to double dip. I love having a couple different things for them to pick from because, believe it or not, there are kids that don't like candy. The price on the Halloween Fun Bands are about five dollars; that is a little more than the regular Fun Bands but these are a seasonal item. If you are looking for an alternative to candy treats for Halloween, these are something that you should consider adding to your spooky shopping list.

Aka Silly Bands? I don't get the attraction to these things haha, I guess that's how I really know that I am getting older. I saw Virginia Tech ones for $15 for a pack of them.
