A Taste of Georgetown

One of Washington DC's Best Fall Festivals!

At Washington DC's fall food and wine festival A Taste of Georgetown, over 25 of the most talked about restaurants in DC will be offering sample sized portions of their best dishes. All samples will be served with complimenting wines. In addition to food and drink the festival will be hosting live musical entertainment and entertainment geared toward a younger crowd (jugglers, caricature artists, and balloon-animal makers.)

The festival will take place from 11:00AM - 4:00PM on October 14th 2006, along Wisconsin Ave between M and South Street, as well as on the grounds of the Grace Episcopal Church on Wisconsin. Admission will be free, but there is a $5.00 fee for each tasting (or 5 tastings can be purchased for $20.00,) wine samples will be complimentary. All proceeds go to benefit Georgetown Ministry's homeless outreach program which provides meals, shelter and psychiatric care to homeless persons living in the DC neighborhood.

The festival will be held rain or shine!
Limited street parking is available, in addition to several parking garages along Wisconsin Ave - one right across the street from the Grace Episcopal Church!
