Here I lay on the floor.
A tear rolls down my face
I think of days of happiness,
I still remember them--
As though they were yesterday.
The air was fresh, the flowers smelled great.
I was surrounded by friends,
And you were there too.
Then the darkness sets in...
Such sweeping blackness...
I feel so much agony, so much pain.
I wish it would go away--
I wish the torment would end.
But I know it won't...
My dreams--shattered.
My hopes--gone.
Everything fell apart on that fateful day.
And so here I lay on the floor...
As a tear rolls down my face.
A tear rolls down my face
I think of days of happiness,
I still remember them--
As though they were yesterday.
The air was fresh, the flowers smelled great.
I was surrounded by friends,
And you were there too.
Then the darkness sets in...
Such sweeping blackness...
I feel so much agony, so much pain.
I wish it would go away--
I wish the torment would end.
But I know it won't...
My dreams--shattered.
My hopes--gone.
Everything fell apart on that fateful day.
And so here I lay on the floor...
As a tear rolls down my face.
