A Thankful Thanksgiving
The many things that I have
I'm thankful for my siblings
And my Mother and my Dad
I am thankful for my friendships
I hope they'll always last
And I'm thankful for who I've known
Those who lived and then have passed
I'm thankful for this country
Despite it's imperfections
I'm thankful for my freedom,
Despite my misdirection
I'm thankful for the leaders
Who aren't afraid to show affection
And I'm thankful for this world
That is no where near perfection
I'm thankful for my money
At least the little that I own
I'm thankful for my shelter,
My loving, home sweet home
I'm thankful for my car that
Gets me where I need to go
And I'm thankful for the meals
That help me live and help me grow
I'm very thankful for these things
But there's something you should know
I'm thankful for you most of all
And pray you never let me go
