me?
Andrew: I...
M: Yeah?
A: I don't think so...
M: Are you sure?
A: Yeah, Mom.
M: .....
A: What is it?
M: Nothing, it's just... well, you're done with all of your shopping?
A: Yes, I think so.
M: Did you get something for your mother?
A: Uh, yeah.
M: Oh, ok. You know, you should uh... respect your elders.
A: Yeah.
M: I'm gonna need my atm card, please.
A: Here ya go.
M: Thanks. I'll see you later, then.
A: Bye
Jim: Hey, Jim here. How are you?
Andrew: Oh, I'm good
J: I was wondering if you could come caroling with us
A: No
J: What was that?
A: I didn't say anything.
J: Oh, ok. Anyway, I called to ask if you could come caroling with
the rest of the youth group.
A: Oh, sure. When is it?
J: Actually, it's tonight.
A: ...
J: Yeah, it's kinda short notice, sorry about that.
A: Um.
J: It's up to you
A: ....yeah. Actually, I've got some last minute Christmas shopping to do.
J: Ah, sure, sure.
A: Sorry...
J: No, it's okay, that's fine. Did you graduate?
A: No...
J: Because I saw some article in the paper about some IB kids gradu-
A: Those kids were in the class a year ahead of me.
J: Ohhhh, ok. I don't know what I was thinking. That makes sense.
A: ....
J: Yeah, that makes sense. Well, God bless, good luck with your
shopping, and I hope to see you tomorrow.
A: Yeah, thanks.
J: B-bye
A: Bye.
Max: Hey, Andrew
Andrew: Hello, Max.
M: What are you doing?
A: Thinking about Christmas gifts.
M: Cool. What are you thinking about?
A: I'm thinking about what to get for Mom.
M: That's cool.
A: Did you get anything for her?
M: Um...
A: No?
M: Uh...no.
A: You should get started on that.
M: Well you haven't gotten anything for her either.
A: Yeah, but I know what I'm going to do for her.
M: What's that?
A: I can't tell you. It's a surprise.
M: So. Do you want to play a board game with me?
A: Nah, I can't really. I don't have much time. I might go caroling
later.
M: Caroling?
A: Yeah, with the youth group from church.
M: Can I come?
A: I don't think so. Sorry, I think you're too young.
M: Aww, come on
A: You don't really want to go caroling, do you?
M: I dunno.
Alyssa: Hey...
Andrew: Hey...
Aly: What's up?
An: Not much, really
Aly: What did you do today?
An: Eah. I don't know. Nothing, really.
Aly: Sounds fun.
An: Joy and happiness.
Aly: Yeah....
An: A lot of people asking me to do stuff, though. I was busy, though.
Aly: Busy?
An: Yeah
Aly: Doing what?
An: I don't know. Stuff.
Aly: Yep yep.
An: Yeah...
