A Tornado

georgina brandt
The wind blew the treetops
The wind roared
The house creaked
But the bricks were strong

Across the street
A man walked with an umbrella,
A lightning bolt struck him down
And his ashes crumbled to the ground.

The tornado passed by
The news said rivers overflowed,
The waves roared and
Flooded streets of Havana.
