A New Trend Toward Fashion for Men

Maryam Louise
In Palmer, Massachusetts, men's fashion is heading in a new direction. This time, it wants to appeal to the man who does most of his shopping in a hunting supply store. To complete the motif, the vibe is one of the hunter's cabin. The artwork is of hunter's prey such as ducks. The clothing is a nicer version of hunting clothes. It's the perfect place to buy clothing for a hermit that lives in a shack and goes hunting all day.

Americana Defines Modern Manly Fashion

The interesting part is that this step back into the history of men's Americana is the new marketing vehicle for male clothing retailers. Palmer retailers Willy Chavarria and David Ramirez raided the countryside of Massachusetts in order to get weathered barn lumber to furnish the inside of the store. They wanted buyers to feel right at home with the sight and smell of a rugged and manly environment.

What Palmer Trading Company Does To Advance Men's Fashion

Products at the Palmer Trading Company range from bridle leather belts crafted locally in Massachusetts to Vermont made socks that are licensed only to Palmer's. All products sold at Palmer's are 100% American made. While their focus is on vintage, they are not looking to get on the plaid and taxidermy bandwagon.

Chavarria and Ramirez are not trying to make a trendy store. They are trying to offer products that men love in an environment that truly focuses on their chosen style. Instead of the retailers trying to change the men they want to sell to, they are meeting them where they are at.

Men Who Would Like Fashion Like This
