A Tribute to My Grandfather

samaira
"He was a man with principles,

And was a gentleman from all angles.

He always beard a smile on his face,

Everyone wanted his footsteps to trace.

He was a man, who was kind and true,

And he never kept anything due.

He always remained true by his heart,

With prayers his day used to start.

His motto was "Live And Let Others Live",

And tried hard to make us this believe.

He was an altruist,

And led a simple life,

Without any turns and twists.

He became unwell in November,

And we lost him in last may forever.

Till now I can not forget that night,

When I checked his pulse rate,

Gradually it slowed down,

And he took his last breath.

Remembering my grandfather now too,

That is why I am presenting this tribute.

He will remain in our hearts forever,

Thinking about him,

Still my eyes get filled with tears.

May his soul rest in peace."

Very sad and beautiful tribute. He was lucky to have a grandaughter like you and you were lucky to have him.
