Flirty daffodils against cerulean sky.
Violet lilacs shout their surprise.
Traipsing tulips light the days,
No more bitter hazy grays.
Good bye winter bitter cold.
Never believe what they have told.
Spring is no longer just a dream,
Phlox adorns green like sweet cream.
Summer closely on her heels,
Children's laughter, joyful squeals.
How I love the seasons true,
Thank you God for all that's new.
Spring is most welcome to me,
Winter is gone and I feel free.
