A Unique Approach to Volunteering

I was asked to write an article describing volunteer opportunities and AHA! It just clicked! I'm practically running the show at a non-profit organization. Just visualizing this writing assignment gave me a breath of fresh air (much like WHEN Magazine Online does) because most people are out to get a paycheck with the economy being so rough and tough. Most people don't care about making a difference anymore or helping other people with their calling. They have loss sight of their dreams and passions. It is very unfortunate, because I believe that happiness leads to success; not the other way around.

My name is Curt Bizelli, and I founded The Make a Difference Network earlier this year in 2011. I've also been volunteering for an online magazine called WHEN Magazine Online for about Seven Years. I worked my way from writer, to editor, to publisher to being a partner to the CEO. I treat this volunteer opportunity like a business because even though the magazine is not strictly Christian. It does not discriminate. It is God Inspired and Making a Difference in The Media & Entertainment Worlds. WHEN Magazine Online was founded out of Music City, Nashville, TN in 1999 by a music industry professional named Doug Deneve (my partner and mentor). WHEN has been shining a light of hope and inspiration in the media sector filled with trash and garbage for Over 12 Years and is still going strong, improving day by day. Not to mention, all the big visions the CEO has for television shows & dreams of assisting people to use their talents wisely in a God Driven manner. We're talking serious "stuff" here; total ambition. I'm proud to be a part of something so special, yet humbled that God would choose me to be a part of this thing so special.
