Are you an adventurer? Do you like to try new things? Do you seek out the unique if not bizarre? Do you consider yourself a kid at heart? Than I have found the perfect place for you! The Cedar Creek Tree house at Mount Rainier. Can you imagine staying in a cabin that was built 50 feet high in a giant red cedar tree. Your adventure begins as you walk across an 80 foot long suspension bridge through the forest to reach the tree house. After climbing 5 flights of stairs, you have at last reached the cabin in the sky. The captivating views from the tree house are unlike anything you have ever seen, from the creek down below to the miles of lush green forests and mountainous views at every turn.

The amenities of the tree house although basic has most everything you need. There is a kitchen nook with a gas stove, water, sink, icebox, cooking utensils and dishes. So be sure to bring your favorite foods. The sleeping quarters consist of a sleeping loft with futons and bedding is provided. The tree house does have a bathroom with a toilet but there is no shower, although water can be heated and they do offer towels. 12 volt electric lights are provided and no other power source is available. When the weather is cold propane heat provides the warmth. The tree house also has a dining area, sun room, glass observation area and plenty of windows and skylights throughout.

The creek below has a picnic table, campfire pit & charcoal grill for your creek side enjoyment. Relax while you get in some trout fishing or take a refreshing dip in the creek. Go huckleberry picking in the summer and chanterelle mushroom hunting in the fall. Take a drive to Mount Rainier National Park only ten minutes away or hike the many trails in the area.

The Cedar Creek Tree house is a unique and peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It offers the opportunity to connect with nature and provides a relaxing environment which helps to soothe the body, mind and soul.
