A Unique Proposal for Your Girlfriend on Valentine's Day

Sarah Holmes
This proposal idea is unique and amazing. Your girlfriend will be stunned by your creativity & will be able to tell everyone of the uniqueness of this idea. This idea is thoughtful, loving and very creative. You can also make the proposal unique for your relationship.

Here is the proposal idea

I am sure you have heard of creating a puzzle for your girlfriend to put together that spells out a proposal. However how about using an On-line Puzzle instead. That's right! An online puzzle is a great idea because your girlfriend is not likely to suspect it. (The surprise element ALWAYS adds to romance!) Plus, the online puzzle idea is great because you will be able to announce to the whole online puzzle community what you are up to. Everyone loves to be in on a proposal story.

Example of An Online Puzzle

Here is an example of an online puzzle:

Here is how to create your unique proposal online. First, go to http://jigidi.com/ and create a new profile. You will then need to create a photo, picture or text of something that is significant to your relationship with the words, Will you marry me? You can use any photo editor like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or whatever other software you have access to. (If you need to find a freeware software for photo editing, I recommend searching www.downloads.com) You may want to take a photo of the two of you together and put will you marry me on it. Or you may want to have a more creative text like the following:

In the puzzle of my life, you are the missing piece. Will you marry me?

The Important thing is that the puzzle is significant to your relationship. After you are done creating the puzzle, you will want to go to http://jigidi.com/ and click on "Search for a Profile". Look for your profile name and click on your profile name link when it comes up. Now your puzzles will be visible.

Now up at the top of the browser, a link to your puzzle will appear. Highlight the link with your mouse and press Ctrl + C (to copy the link). Now go to your email program and create an email to your lover. Click Ctrl + V to paste the link into your email. You may want to write a sweet message or simply ask your lover to wait to click on the link until you are present. Other ideas include titling the email with "In the Puzzle of my Life, You Are the Missing Piece" and then put the link in the body. Use this article to get the creative juices flowing for your own unique proposal.

If you want an audience, you can always request she wait until many people are present. Or since this would probably spoil the surprise or if you have a particularly curious girlfriend, she might peek ---- you may want to send the link to YOUR email box and you wait to open it when you have the appropriate audience. This would ADD to the surprise element (she will never expect it --- a proposal during a time you are reading email in YOUR email box --- who would) and you can have others (whomever you or she wants present during the proposal) just "happen" to be around if you so choose.

After you have successfully used this proposal idea, please leave a comment. We (myself and other readers) would love to hear your stories! Who doesn't like a good love story? (That is a rheotorical question -- not meant for answering in the posts. :)

For a Large Audience Proposal

An Additional Idea - You can use a webcam, blog, social network, webinar, youtube or teleconference to broadcast your proposal live if you want to --- to as many people as you would like. If she likes a large crowd during her proposal this is another great idea!

And if you USE youtube or another form of broadcasting, please POST it for us all to see! I would especially like to see a youtube video of someone implementing this idea. I love seeing a girls reaction to a great proposal.

Happy Valentines Day!
