A Valentine's Day Poem Just for You

Harold Dean Sink
This is your day,

As it should be mine, too.

But this day shall be all about you.

A morning kiss will be the alarm.

There will not be any loud noises to wake you,

Nor to cause your ear drums any harm.

Some clothes will be laid out

That you like so much to wear,

With a note wriiten out

Abou how much I still care.

The smile on your face

I don't have to see.

I know it will grace

For all of us to see.

This day is your day

To remember for long.

It's your day to play,

So sing me your song.

I don't write as much as I used to, but I do find it as a way to put my thoughts on paper or on the computer.  View profile
