Although a gay relationship on the show hasn't been absolutely confirmed, it has been revealed that Kurt will be making friends with a boy named Blaine from a rival Glee club. It is supposed to remain platonic, but Kurt fans may well be hoping to see him taking the first steps into romance.
Kurt's potential love interest, Blaine will be played by Darren Criss. You may know him from his role in TV's Eastwick, but much more exciting for me is that Darren Criss is also an internet legend. As a member of the University of Michigan theatre group Team Starkid, Criss' work has been watched by millions worldwide in the phenomenal "A Very Potter Musical", in which he played Harry Potter!
In my deluded excitement as both a "Glee" and "Harry Potter" fan, I want to see the cast of the show acting out "A Very Potter Musical" on television. Can you imagine it? Rachel would of course want to play a leading character such as Hermione, and Finn as Harry Potter and maybe even Kurt himself as an odd take on Ron! Brittany would be ditzy Luna, and Mercedes could play feisty Ginny - she has never been one to worry about looking the part! As for Sue Sylvester - a female Severus Snape, anyone?
Okay, so maybe I am getting carried away here, but "Glee" is known for taking other ideas and implementing them into the show. The upcoming "Rocky Horror Show" episode is set to be epic! A Very Potter Glee Club would be quite the unique idea and with a star like Darren Criss adding to the cast, who better to help them out?
