A Walk in the Park

Amanda
Strolling through the grass
Watching the couples go by
My blood pressure flies
I am alone

Kicking the rocks down the path
The squirrels chase each other
My heart starts to race
I am so alone

Dragging my feet on the gravel
The birds sing a lovely song
My mind starts to wonder
Maybe I am not so alone

Skipping thru the flowers
I watch the clouds roll by
My face starts to smile
I am free and alive
