A St. Patrick's Day Limerick
I feel that St. Patrick's Day is a wonderful holiday. The amount of alcohol consumption is staggering, and that's in my house alone! One of my favorite holidays, I feel the lore of St. Patrick is entertaining and educational. I wish I had someone to chase all of the snakes from my back yard. Here's a St. Patrick's Day limerick that I wrote and I hope you'll enjoy over a pint or two.
Just a wee bit o'whiskey for me
So I thought, but now I can't see
So I'll have me one more
Then I'll limp to the door
Not as thought as I drunk I would be
