A Week After 'Dancing', What Has Jake Pavelka Been Up To?

It's been a week since Bachelor star Jake Pavelka was sent home on ABC's Dancing With the Stars. And while the nice-guy pilot has been a fixture on television for the past year, can fans expect to see any more of him in the near future?

Jake Pavelka first came into our lives last spring, when he was a contestant on ABC's The Bachelorette. But when Bachelorette Jillian Harris decided the chemistry just wasn't there and sent him home, Pavelka infamously came back on the show to tattle that one of the boys she was still considering- Wes Hayden- supposedly had a girlfriend back home.

Fans who liked his nice guy image (and nice six-pack) were thrilled when it was announced that Pavelka was chosen to be the next Bachelor. But if you were expecting a dull, nice-guy season, forget it. Pavelka's Bachelor stint was filled with the biggest scandals and dirty secrets of any season of the show. He ended up picking one of the most controversial contestants ever- Vienna Girardi- to be his fiancé.

But with the Bachelor finale, just when fans thought Pavelka's TV reign was up, television host Tom Bergeron announced that Pavelka would be a contestant on ABC's ultra popular hit show, Dancing With the Stars. Dancing With the Stars premiered just weeks after Pavelka's final Bachelor episode aired.

But last week, Pavelka was given the boot on DWTS, resulting in a tearful goodbye as he called partner Chelsie Hightower his best friend.

Since then, fans who follow Pavelka on Twitter know that he's kept plenty busy and shows no signs of slowing down. While he was admittedly "bummed" about being booted off of DWTS, Pavelka has had plenty of face time on TV in the past week, appearing on Good Morning America, Live With Regis and Kelly and Talk Soup.

He's also jetted to Canada to speak at the Ottowa Women's Spring Expo, took in the movie A Nighmare on Elm Street with Girardi, and showed up in the DWTS audience Monday night.

As for future TV shows, nothing appears to be on Pavelka's plate at the moment, although acting may not be out of the question. A look at Pavelka's IMDB profile shows that he has a couple of acting credits under his belt - even appearing on an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger in the late 1990's.

And with his upcoming wedding to Girardi in the works, you can bet you haven't seen the last of Jake Pavelka.
