A Wiccan Mother's Plea

A Poem of Haikus

Heather B.
My sweet angel,
The goddess sent you to me--
a blessing, a gift

You brightened my days
You brought such peace to my soul--
filled my life with joy.

I've given my all
You are my whole entire world--
my reason to live

I have but one plea
If you reach the Summerland
before me, wait for me

Or come back to me
Quickly, in some other form
Just don't forget me

There's only one way
I could go on without you--
could keep breathing still

I'd have to believe
that one day we'll meet again--
be reunited

Without that knowledge
Without that hope, I'd wither--
and fall to the ground.

I'm not a Wiccan, but I certainly can feel these things with you. We have two little girls in heaven (summerland) Isobella Raine and Mary-Therese. Love to you and thanks for the lovely poem.

LOL. I was thinking maybe it was someone who just hates Pagans or harbors ill will towards their own mommy :D
