If you were planning a wedding in the fall, how perfect! The grape leaves are starting to turn beautiful with rich fall colors. These vibrant hues can suggest your Tuscan color scheme of rust, burgundy, purple, gold, orange, brown, yellow, olive green, and cream. However, don't plan your wedding in late fall or the winter - - unless you want a drab, lifeless Tuscan wedding! For, the vines start to lose their leaves and go dormant until early spring.
Another reason that a winery is perfect for a Tuscan Wedding is the wine! Offer your guests the wineries wine selection at your reception. Don't like champagne? Ask the winery if they offer "Prosecco." Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine! If you want to make your wedding reception unique, arrange for a wine tasting for your guests. This would make your guests "cheer" at your celebration! Want favor ideas? Bottles of wine or balsamic vinegar would make excellent gifts!
Want your wedding to take place inside? Find a facility that expresses Tuscan architecture. Tuscan structures usually are made of stucco, stone, terracotta tile floors and roofs, and decorated with pottery, fountains, wrought iron, and wood work. This architecture will give your wedding a romantic, sophisticated, casual, and elegant feel. If the winery you choose does not reflect Tuscan architecture, have your wedding in their wine cellar! However, make sure that facility can accommodate your number of guests!
To find the nearest winery, go to www.theknot.com. This website has an excellent list of wedding and reception sites in your area. If you don't have one near you, you could always make your wedding a destination wedding. Combined with the celebration, you can include a relaxing vacation to destinations like Napa Valley or San Diego's wine country, Temecula.
From grapes vines, wine cellars, and Tuscan architecture - - this venue creates a perfect setting for your Tuscan wedding. The rich fall colors and wine just adds the "Amarena Italian Cherry" on top of the cake! Congratulazioni!
