A Winning Super Bowl Spread Without All the Hassle

Awesome Food for Super Bowl

Elle
If you are planning a Super Bowl Party and don't know what kinds of foods to prepare, don't worry. Here are some sure fire favorites for the big game that are very simple and don't require a full recipe to prepare.

Chips and Salsa
This dish is a given for every super bowl party. Pop open a jar of salsa and rip open a bag of chips and you're done. If you want to get fancy, pour the salsa in a glass bowl and throw the chips on a football shaped plate. No one will even care if the salsa is home made.

But don't just stop with salsa, try some of these other great dips that are easy to make:

Spinach Dip
Heat some cream cheese in a sauce pan and throw in a can of drained spinach, top off with a little garlic sauce and if you like a heaping spoon of sour cream. For a cheesier taste, sprinkle on some Parmesan. No tricky recipe is required for good spinach dip.

Spicy Cheese Nachos or Dip
This is easy too, open a jar of Queso dip and mix with a jar of salsa for a quick and chunky spicy cheese dip. Pour it on a few tortillas and add some tomatoes for easy nachos, or put it on the side for dipping.

Ham and Pickle Wraps
Since you already have some cream cheese, just leave a little bit for the ham and pickle wraps. Just spread the cream cheese on the ham and wrap it around a small pickle then cut it into bite size pieces. Yummy. These are a tradition in my family.

Mozzarella Cheese balls in Italian dressing with tomatoes
Yeah, it sounds fancy, but very easy. Get a package of small preformed cheese balls in the dairy section or at the deli. Take some cherry tomatoes and halve them. Throw the halved tomatoes and cheese balls in a serving dish and pour the Italian dressing over the top. Give a quick stir to coat all and you're don.

The Best Pork Sandwiches Ever
No need to prepare this yourself, head to Bandana's Restaurant or another smoke house and pick up a few pounds of meat, smoked and prepared to perfection. Purchase a full jar of their best barbeque sauce. You can reheat and coat it when you serve it up with some Kaiser rolls you bought at the grocery store. Grab a pound of really good cole slaw and pile a spoonful over the top of your sandwich. It's better than pickles and has a unique way of bringing the flavor out in the pork. YUM, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

For any additional sides, just pick them up at the deli already prepared. Save yourself the heartache of preparation and enjoy the game. Clean up afterwards is another story. Make everyone chip in to get the dishes done and take out the trash before you go to bed.
