A Poem About Freedom, After a Breakup
We parted and there was winter.......
I feared that this winter would never end.
All my life I would have to spend,
in this frozen, barren bubble of time and space.
All I had to do was to sing along,
and the frigid winter was long gone.
I am now enjoying life,
the way it is meant to be.
