Not wishing long to bear a cross
The tale that bears repeating
The time's spent, sands the measured loss
Caring not for what one's eating
'tis winter, dark for tables set
below electric chandelier
The fare is simple, free of flesh yet,
Stout enough to fill each one here
Wishing not for madness yet
Found in these journeys oft repeated
Still seated at a table set, for shame
I have returned defeated
Encased in clear and hardened form
In morbid stature through the storm

Good one. I see nothing wrong with a fortifying vegetarian meal. However I would much prefer dining by candlelight over the electric chandelier. Its an ambiance thing.
