A Woman in "Basic Black"

A Woman in "Basic Black"

A woman comes on in "Basic Black"

Girl comes up and asks for a light

I say, "How are you tonight?"

She says nothing and lights her cigarette

I try to be nice but nice is not good

Nice is no good with today's girl

I could say a lot, but not

The houseman may come down on me

I'd like to do Stefani

"Nanana nana nana nananana nana nana"

A woman comes on in "Basic Black"

But your money means nothing here

I got an ache in my back

"Hey Johnny, nananana nana nana nananana"

Must I take another whack

You think I'm in my world of joy

But with you it's all about the boy

I see you-kissy, kissy, kissy, kissy

And nothing for me-my own fault?

Running in the dark like a black lark

I think I'll fart for my big heart

Curse on me I run like a criminal

My love is so seminal

"Nananana nana nana nananana nana nana"

I think I need an enema

"Works so hard every night and day

And now he gets the payback

Tries so hard picking up the paper

And now he gets to lay back"-Stefani
