Aboard the Train of Love

Aboard The Train of Love

Hush, I hear a train, it's coming,
Hush, I hear a whistle blowing,
Hush, it's getting closer and closer,
It's called the train of love;

My friend, won't you come on aboard,
Come on; join hands, with your neighbors
next door,
Let your sorrows and worries be forgotten,
This is the train of love;

On this train,
It carries little, bitty, babies,
On this train,
It carries old, old, ladies,
On this train,
It carries everybody
who believes in the train of love;

There's room
enough for everybody,
Come on aboard,
Don't you care to join us?
We'd love to have the whole world
surround us,
Aboard this train of love;

On this train,
It carries little, bitty, babies,
On this train,
Old, old, ladies,
On this train,
It carries everybody
Who believes in the train of love,
This is the train of love.

    This would make a lovely lullabye if set to music.

    I love this! I really miss the days when people used to unite together. I was a small child the last time I remember entire towns coming together.
