Abortion: Love, Affection, and Sacrifice Required

When Perception Meets Reflection

M.G. Laskey
One day you will thank me

For the mess of your life,

I didnt make

One day you will recognize

the courage such a decision as this takes

One day you will know

How much it hurt me, to let go

Yet, youll realize,

The pain I saved you

With a premature embryotic demise.

For on that day, will it be shown

A baby was not killed

a baby never did dawn

It was merely zygote, which had grown

No doubt possessing possibility

But better off, never to be

Yes, one day- you will look from this mirror

And your view will be clearer

On that day, your truth will be portrayed

And the guilt will begin to fade

One day, that day

My dear reflection,

Rather than contempt, you will view me, your portraiture

again with love and affection

Thank you! It is definately one of the most controversial subjects you can speak out about.
