About Alex Pettyfer of I Am Number Four

Alex Pettyfer stars in the recently released film I Am Number Four. I Am Number Four is the first film of the actor to hit theaters in the U.S.

Good Cheekbones

Unfortunately, his first film for American audiences hasn't received too many positive reviews from the critics. Movie critic Stephen Witty had this to say about Alex Pettyfer in I Am Number Four: "Pettyfer - a child actor turned model turned self-satisfied hunk - isn't much except blond hair and good cheekbones as our hero."

Apparently, the actor used to use his good looks to model for fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren. Cheekbones are where it's at.

Twenty

If you had any doubts of how old Alex Pettyfer is, he'll gladly tell you. The I Am Number Four actor is apparently proud of his age as he often points out during interviews that he is twenty years old.

Quote: "Not many kids at 20-years of age can turn around and say, 'our producers are Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay.'"

Quote: "A lot of things go through a twenty-year-old's head when you go into something like this."

Fear

Alex Pettyfer is a fan of fear. In an interview with Collider, he says that he loves things that scare him. He means that more in the sense of the kind of fear that one faces when they are doing something challenging, not the kind of fear you get when you are watching a horror movie or some dude is following you down a dark alley.

Moreover, he believes there's no point in doing a job that doesn't scare you, challenge you, or excite you.

Glee

If you didn't know, Alex Pettyfer had been dating that hot blonde chick from the TV show Glee, Dianna Agron. US Magazine reported today that Dianna Agron has moved out of their shared home though.

I guess good cheekbones only take you so far...

Beastly

Fans can look forward to seeing more of Alex Pettyfer this year. He will appear in the upcoming movie Beastly opposite Vanessa Hudgens. Beastly is a "Beauty and the Beast" story with the former model playing the role of Beast.

I'm already crying foul on that one. No amount of make-up can hide good cheekbones.
