About the Ghost Whisperer

JAcqueline Walls
Last week, I was about to chuck the Ghost Whisperer. In the beginning, the show had killed off one of it's characters, Andrea. Then, they had sent another character, Professor Payne, off on a wild goose chase. And last week, Jim (my favorite) died.

I was fed up with Ghost Whisperer. Many of us were finished with this show. But, Ghost Whisperer miraculously pulled it off. So far, anyway. (I am still keeping a wary eye on these people). Looks like Jim might stick around afterall.

In another man's body; that is. Jim's widow, Melinda Gordon (sees and talks to dead people-for those who don't watch), spoke of reincarnation this week. Several times throughout the show, I heard the term 'reincarnation'. This is not a new concept to me. I am familiar with reincarnation as being applied to the death of a person whose spirit comes back into a newborn baby's body. However, our Jim resurrected into the body of a full grown man.

This brings me to another question. Why didn't Jim just go back into his old body to start with? (It was a nice one). Why did he choose the body of another dead man? Is this new body going to have medical problems? Afterall, the guy died in a car accident! Apparently, there were no broken limbs or punctures, so I assume the dead guy suffered a heart attack or stroke. Won't this medical condition haunt the new Jim? Hmmm....maybe, Jim won't stick around too long afterall.
