Abraham Lincoln Costumes and Outfits to Celebrate Lincoln's Birthday
Cool Costumes for Kids and Adults to Celebrate Abraham Lincoln
According to Wikipedia, Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809. Many people regard Lincoln as the greatest president in the history of the United States, in part because of his leadership during the Civil War. History recalls the abrupt end of his life when he was assassinated in 1865.
One of the greatest things that made Abraham Lincoln so popular and memorable was his diverse wit and wonderful sayings. He could even make fun of himself, and that can be seen with this quote from Wikiquote, "In my poor, lean lank face nobody has ever seen that any cabbages were sprouting."
Of course many movies have been made about Abraham Lincoln, and many more will be made in the future. Steven Spielberg and Robert Redford are both currently working on movies about Lincoln, according to a recent article in The Guardian.
Lincoln is beloved by children because he looked so different with his big top hat, tall stature and thick beard. You can bet that millions of kids will be dressing up as Abraham Lincoln in a costume this year. If your child wants to look like Lincoln for class, then you have plenty of online retailer choices to browse for a fun Abraham Lincoln costume or outfit.
You should always check out Amazon.com for Abraham Lincoln costumes. Just go to Amazon.com to see all that Amazon has to offer. Of course, another web site for Lincoln costumes is Buy.com and they have many Lincoln costumes at this link.
