Upcoming Games
Once again, the schedule maker appears to be having some fun with our league, as we have a matchup between two undefeated squads and one between two winless teams. As long as there's not a tie, it'll be okay.
Captain Smoot @ Sleuth's Stranglers Pick 'em
Jerry's Boys @ Off in the Woods Woods by 3.5
Cleveland Cosanostra @ C.A. All Stars Stars by 5
Dub D @ Slimy Green Wave Wave by 2.5
EvilMidnightBombers @ Go For Two No wins = no line
Off in the Woods had another strong week, missing out on high scoring honors by a single point. My lineup:
Tom Brady 16
Willie Parker 12
Laurence Maroney 3
Chad Johnson 22
Laveraneus Coles 2
Tony Gonzalez 2
Marion Barber 16
Jason Elam 11
Minnesota 17
I didn't have any bench players come up with big games, at least not big enough to go doh! for not putting them in the lineup. It was nice of Willie Parker to find the end zone. Hopefully Laurence Maroney will follow suit in Week #3.

Oops I took a wrong turn, can you direct me to the AC poker room? In these here parts football is a fantasy. :-)
Bah, I came in third in scoring this week but only lost because I played one of the two teams with more points. Stupid fantasy football.
Are you guys going to do this for Hockey? Can I join in? but ummm can someone else keep track for me? (Ducks & runs)
Sorry, I see your name in the owner's list. Missed it the first read through. I lost this week, due to playing Cincy's defense and benching Denver's. That is why I have a day job.
The basic principle of fantasy football is that our teams get points based on what the players do in real life. So when Steve Smith gets three touchdowns in a single game, his fantasy owner rakes in the points. There's other things involved, but mainly if your guy participates in a touchdown you're happy.
Gotta admit I don't get this fantasy football stuff but it does seem like fun!
Brian, I take it that you are "Off in the Woods." ?
