Well, I guess it was better to lose because Zac got high score for the week rather than have him win his usual pillow-fight way. And he probably needed a fantasy football win to help heal the hurt from seeing Peyton Manning lose the big game. But isn't it just like fantasy football to have a 7-2 record versus someone head-to-head on a weekly basis and play him in one of the two weeks that you lose? There's a Country & Western song in there somewhere if I can just work in a line about someone going to prison....
I had a chance going into the Monday Night Football game if Willie Parker came up with a big game. But Santonio Holmes did that for Captain Smoot instead. Since the Pittsburgh defense got me a win Monday in my money league, I guess I can't complain. My lineup:
Tom Brady 15
Willie Parker 2
Laurence Maroney 2
Chad Johnson 2
Roddy White 2
Tony Gonzalez 11
Marion Barber 10
Jason Elam 1
Minnesota 8
I keep telling myself that cream will rise to the top, but it keeps getting harder and harder to write Maroney and Parker into my starting lineup. Earnest Graham had a big week and is making a case for the starting nod. And my injured wide receivers are piling up. May have to look into pulling off a trade.
