AC Same Name Game

Candice Collins began a Same Name Game wherein you search Associated Content for writers that have your first name (spelled the same way) along with a profile picture and some published content. I thought this sounded like fun and decided to give it a try.

My initial search showed 72 Tracie's, but upon further research, only 12 had photos. Seven of the 12 had published content, but only five had published regularly and as recently as 2009. Those five are the ones I will highlight.

Tracie Brookes
Tracie Brookes writes poetry, verse and songs like she has since she was a child. A compassionate jokester, she believes it is easier to share your feelings through the written rather than the spoken word. Her last published piece was 7/23/2009.

Tracie Pinto
Tracie Pinto published regularly until December 2009. She is married with an active, young son and hopes to be able to stay home with him while earning at least a little income. Her articles are varied, but seem to have a good number of medical themes.

Tracie Johanson
Tracie Johanson is the founder of Pick up the Pace, a 30-minute health club for women, which she has owned and operated for many years. In addition, she has begun a new company exclusively for health club owners. She writes a lot of travel articles as well as posting videos of the destinations. She has published as recently as 9/15/2010.

Tracie Heffernan
Tracie Heffernan also does travel pieces and her most recent article was about training for a marathon, written 8/16/2010. She has written for five years in many venues, most currently Fame Fatale Productions in Park City, Utah.

Tracie McFarlin
Tracie McFarlin is a professional and technical writing major at Dixie State College of Utah. She enjoys vocal music performance as well. She writes about literature and her most recent piece, about American women in WWII internment camps, was published 2/10/2010.
