First, follow your passion. If you are interested in the environment, then set a goal to start recycling or join a local environmental group. Instead of just writing down a resolution to lose weight, why not sign up for a salsa dancing class or join a yoga class with a friend. When things are close to your heart, it is much easier to stay involved.
Second, implement a reward system. If a resolution involves giving up something, like smoking or caffiene, then agree to reward yourself with a special activity or extra nice gift. You can set milestone rewards, a week with no smoking deserves a small gift while a year with no smoking might deserve a cruise. If your goal is to exercise more, consider getting a special gift subscription to your favorite magazine and only read the magazine when you exercise.
Third, consider thinking far outside the goal box. Everything is energy so adding meditation or even a new technology like the AIM Program of Energetic Balancing can help you reach goals that may have been out of reach for years. Meditation can remove any mental blocks that may be creating self sabatoge. The AIM Program is a new technology that works by placing your photograph, your digital hologram on a series or trays that deliver thousands of balancing energy. The process can assist you in removing doubt, fear and procrastination in overcoming your trouble spots.
So as you set New Years goals remember to make it your passion, implement a reward system and work with your own energy to bring your resolutions into fruition.
