Achieving Mental Clarity

Greg Seltz
Success. Who exactly does it refer to? While some individuals work short hours for exceptional compensation, others are forced to work 1-2 jobs to simply provide for their health. Because of this physical engagement in our modern economy, our burdens are bearing down on us mentally as well. Employees, employers, and the unemployed alike are trying to adapt to a declining economy, which results in high levels of stress and non-productivity. However, success is not limited to monetary value and notoriety. In fact, success is a direct result of hard work, achievement, and a positive attitude.

So how do we stay positive during the time of recession and global crises? Staying calm is a logical start. Stress can overwhelm the mind and eventually effect the body, causing individuals to feel tiresome and pressured. With clarity and an open mind, humans can avoid a demanding routine and engage in an environment free of tension and worry. Frustration, irritation, annoyances, etc. are all linked to negative emotions trapped within the mind. By moving these roadblocks off your cognitive pathway, you will be surprised at the simple inconsistencies and aggravations that once offered only constraints.

We are calm and have obtained a clear head. The next step is staying focused. Free from weary and hostile illusions, the human mind is able to control the situation and adapt more profoundly in their environment. A little control and extra effort, and you instantly recognize the increase in energy and determination to carry out your daily tasks. In fact, after releasing the negative concepts you should more desire and motivation to do the work you once strongly resented.

With a clear path and little to challenge you, absorb your surroundings and dive headstrong into situations that once appeared threatening. The threats that once encompassed your visions are now past responses and possibly causing distress in your competition, allowing you to grip the wheel and steer. Certainty will lead you in the direction of your goals and before you have time to adjust or become comfortable in that specific position, you will already be undergoing a new challenge and achieving the desired success. Make sure not to settle for anything less than the best because although you may feel satisfaction in a little change, not long will pass before you are rewinding back to the starting line.

As it appears; calmness, clarity, and certainty can go far. Take heed of future challenges that endanger your newfound sense of thought, as they may lurk behind any possible scenario. By instilling these characteristics in your train of thought, you are likely to succeed over any challenge presented before you. Remember, a healthy attitude results in a healthy and successful lifestyle.
