Aching Muscles and No Ben Gay Try These Hints

Have you every gone to the gym or worked out in the yard and those muscles that you never knew you had started to hurt. So what do you do , you head for the medicine cabinet to pull out the reliable Ben Gay, but wait no Ben Gay what do you do now. Well for one thing you can make your own muscle relaxer

Ingredients are 1 tablespon of petroleum jelly, 6 drops of peppermint oil and warm water, mix these things together in a bowl, then take a towl in warm water and drape it over the shoulder that is hurting. works like a charm.

When I was in a car accident last year, and my neck would hurt, I took a towel, wet it with warm water, put the towel in the microwavew to heat it up for thirty seconds, then took it out and placed it on my shoulder and neck the moist heat was great.

Still have a problem, then you can use 2 cups of cider vinegar in the tub to soak those sore muscles this will add potassium to muscles and the ache will start to go away .

And as always you can apply an ice pack for 20 to 25 minutes to any area that hurts keep repeating this every hour until the pain subsides.

    I'm a huge fan of Tiger Balm, which an a natural alternative to Ben Gay. However, I am going to give this recipe a try as I always have achy muscles from Fibromyalgia. Thanks for sharing this important info!
