ACLU Files Suit to Stop Arizona Immigration Law

ACLU Forms Coalition with NAACP and Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)

Tony Jingo
Arizona's immigration law SB1070 is scheduled to take effect on July 29, 2010. On Monday, the ACLU along with other civil rights groups filed suit in U.S. District Court to block the newly signed law.

In addition to the ACLU, the coalition of civil rights groups that filed suit includes the following:

• MALDEF

• NAACP

• ACLU of Arizona

• National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON)

• Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC)

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a host of different labor and social justice organizations, which includes the Obama affiliated SEIU. President Obama is also connected to MALDEF, which filed suit along with the ACLU also representing SEIU.

Andrew Stern, leader of SEIU has enjoyed frequent access to the White House and the president. Stern disclosed that SEIU spent 60 million dollars to help get Barack Obama elected.

Stern made no bones about his strong desire to see Obamacare realized and boasted he visited the president once a week.

During a private meeting between the POTUS and health industry leaders, Andy Stern and one other SEIU executive were the only labor union representatives in attendance.

President Obama has appointed Patrick Gaspard, SEIU executive, as the WH Political Director; no other union has placed anyone at such a high level in the White House.

Other SEIU appointments into Obama's White House include:

• Anna Burger, SEIU secretary-treasurer, was appointed to Obama's economic recovery board

• SEIU associate counsel John Sullivan was named to the Federal Election Commission.

In March 2009, President Obama appointed MALDEF chief and general counsel John Travina to be Assistant Secretary of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity in HUD.

The MALDEF Chicago office formed a Census Advisory Committee to serve as a bridge to the national Census activities.

MALDEF claims to protect the rights of Latinos, but is curiously quiet when Mexico has a law that would throw illegal aliens breaking into their country in prison for up to 10-years. Does not the Mexican-American organization see the victimization of human and drug smuggling across the Mexican border?

The NAACP is the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Persons, but yet is curiously quiet during the advancement of boycotts against Arizona. Does not a harmed economic state stymie advancement for minority groups?

The ACLU's stated mission is to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and laws of the United States. Where were they when Arizona rancher Robert Krentz had his Constitutional rights violated when he was gunned down by illegal aliens?

The claims by those civil rights groups that Arizona's immigration law is unconstitutional is clearly an ideological gripe and has nothing to do with a law that in fact prohibits racial profiling.

The POTUS, AG Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano of Homeland Security have also lined up against SB1070. Holder and Napolitano, the top law enforcement chiefs in the nation have both admitted they did not read the bill.

Click here for interesting video leading up to Holder's admission.

Janet Napolitano admits she did not read the law bur claims it's a bad law.

Perhaps, the civil rights groups have followed the progressive leadership of the United States and ignored the merits of the law and are simply lined up to advance their agenda, such as fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

Read the Arizona Immigration Law and decide for yourself. Perhaps, the ACLU needs to be stopped from impeding the laws of the United States.

I have yet to figure out what exactly they think is unconstitutional about it. This has nothing to do with law, and has everything to do with money and power.

    It isn't an easy issue:)

Sounds like Obama is the head of one big happy family. The genius of the ACLU is that they are twisting our own laws to destroy America and the American church. Don't let the last article I wrote make you think that I don't know that we have enemies out there. We as Christians have to put our priorities in order, but we also need to be aware of the wiles of the devil. If the ACLU has it's way, there will be no more evangelism in America or from America. Also what Arizona did just proves how desprite the situation is is boader state. Yet the Federal government does nothing. November 2010 can't get here fast enough.

Well what would you expect? The avowed purpose of the ACLU's founder was to destroy America. He worshiped Josef Stalin! The rest of them can't help what they do anymore than a Cobra can help being a venomous snake or a sewer can help it when it backs up.

I've decided the ACLU is schitzophrenic.
