ACM Awards Nominations, Miranda Lambert is Still on Fire! (Links)

If Miranda Lambert had a constellation in the sky, it would still be burning the brightest after the 27-year-old country singer received seven nominations from the 46th Annual ACM Awards. And just like the definition of her last name, Lambert continues her luminance over other talented and blond country music favorites such as Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.

In November, 2010 at the 44th annual CMA Awards Lambert won Album of the Year (Revolution), Video of the Year ('The House That Built Me'), and Female Vocalist of the Year. That same evening, her fiancé Blake Shelton won the coveted Male Vocalist of the Year and along with Trace Adkins won Musical Event of the Year for 'Hillbilly Bone.'

Lambert will go up against Swift for Top Female Vocalist of the ACM which will take place on April 3 in Las Vegas on CBS.

Additionally, Lambert was followed by Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band who each received five nominations, and then by Taylor Swift and The Band Perry who received four.

Lambert's competition for Entertainer of the Year includes Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith and Jason Aldean. Last November, Brad Paisley took home the top honor by winning the CMA's Entertainer of the Year after being nominated for the award for five consecutive years.
