ACM Nominees Announced

Country music fans live for the "big two" awards shows each year, the CMAs and the ACMs, and fortunately for those fans the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards are taking place just around on the corner on April 3rd in Las Vegas. Today the nominees were announced on The Early Show by country superstars Miranda Lambert and Ronnie Dunn.

Lambert herself leads the nominees with seven nominations, while both The Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney are up for five ACMs, Taylor Swift and newcomers The Band Perry are nominated for four ACMs, and Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Easton Corbin, Alan Jackson, and Keith Urban have all been nominated for three ACMs apiece.

With that list of powerhouse country nominees, this year's ACMs is sure to be a star-studded affair with a great entertainment lineup. Country favorites (and two pretty funny Oklahoma natives) Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton are set to host the ACMs on April 3rd on CBS.
