Acne can be on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and even the upper arms. The most chronic skin disease it affect most teenagers but can affect older groups as well. Though not a dangerous health condition it is upsetting and can lead to scarring.

There are items in your own kitchen that can be used in the treating of those annoying pimples. It is important to make sure that you do not have allergies and are not sensitive to any of the ingredients used in home remedies for acne.

Soaps and gels made from Aloe Vera are also useful in the healing of acne damage to the skin. Orange peels are also useful in treating acne. Grind them in water to make into a past and put on or around the acne.

Fresh garlic can also be rubbed on and around the acne. Regular applications will help acne to disappear without a mark on the face.

Tea bags can be used as well. Boil two or three tea bags and mix them with dried basil for ten to twenty minutes. Use a cotton ball to apply to the face.

An overnight mask can be made by making a paste of honey and cinnamon powder. Simply sleep in it and wash your face when you wake up. This should be done for two weeks until all of the acne is gone.

Milk and a gram of flour can be used as a skin wash to fight acne. Mild can also be combined with ground nutmeg and left on the face for one to two hours. The acne should be relieved and there should be no visible marking of the face.

A tablespoon of groundnut oil and one tablespoon of lime juice is considered to be one of the best home remedies in the treatment of acne. It is also a preventative

Putting fresh lime juice in half a glass of boiled milk can be used to treat pimples, blackheads and cracked skin. Putting fresh mint juice on the face each night not only treats acne but insect stings, eczema and scabies as well.

Sugar can even be used to treat acne. Simply take two tablespoons of white sugar and one of brown sugar and wet it. Then rub it on your face.

Things such as tomato paste, saturate lettuce leaves in water and mint juice nightly are also good remedies for acne. Apply the paste and wash it off after an hour. Use the water the lettuce leaves were in to rinse your face. And put mint juice on each night.

Drinking a glass of wheat juice each day will help with the removal of acne. If you have mint juice you can make a paste by combining it with turmeric powder. Leave it on for thirty minutes before washing your face. Paste can also be made from fresh fenugreek leaves in water. Leave it on overnight and wash your face with warm water when you wake up. Lime juice and rose water in the same amounts can be applied nightly after washing your face. Leave it on for half an hour and wash the face again, patting it dry.
