ACORN Joins Economic Concerns in the Headlines

Who is Nuts ?

Journalist are having no problems these days finding fresh and sensational headlines as America teeters on the brink of possible financial disaster. The roller coaster ride that the stock market has become hit the latest dip in the tracks yesterday as the big number board dropped below the 10,000 mark. Finances have held firmly to the top positions in news headlines ever since the bail out deal was proposed, and these concerns still rank number one, well after the deal passed and has been signed by The President.

We have failed to see any stabilizing effects on the economy since the official passage of the bill, on the contrary world markets have joined America in doubting the economy's ability to recover. This is evident in the latest stock market reports from Asian and European markets, as they join the Dow in a downward slide.
Hot on the heels of the latest political, financial news and opinion ACORN is now taking a turn in the headlines. The organization ACORN, known as the
Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now has been openly accused of voter registration fraud. Americans have long had their doubts over the
integrity of the election processes for some time now. Reports of computerized ballot machines dropping votes during transfers of the important data they contain has not helped stem the tide of concerns.

ACORN campaigners hit the streets, targeting lower income to encourage citizens to become registered voters. The accusations against the group arise from
claims that registration applications are being submitted for the same applicant multiple times. By law voter registration cards can not be destroyed, so this may play into the explanations that will come forth eventually by ACORN in defense against the accusations. There is also some question about registration cards being submitted with fictitious names. Main Stream Media mentioned the name of a popular mouse, with the initials M.M. was reportedly registered .

Many Americans have considered the ACORN campaign to be an honorable movement with good intentions. In a democracy every vote should count, rich or poor. Others are wondering if the recent interest in ACORN's activities might be connected to their targeting of the politically open swing states. Has the push already started the momentum of the swing in motion? Will the negative press against ACORN act to dissuade or persuade citizens to register? This remains to be seen.

From a common sense point of view I do have one big question That begs asking. Wouldn't the citizen registering know they already registered? Weren't they
there when they filled out the application? Ironically in a time when American's have questions about the electoral delegate's votes being the deciding factor in
the Presidential elections, and doubts about just how much their one vote counts, Why would anyone want to register to vote more than one time?

Is it possible we will find that the multiple applicants were secretly paid to cause an intentional documented scandal in an effort to derail ACORN's campaign to
bring six pack Joe into the voting tabulations? It should be interesting to see where this investigation goes. If this was an intentional act with the goal being to discredit ACORN so close to November elections, and cause doubts that slow voter registrations, will we ever know who the perpetrators were? We will follow developments as they progress.

This makes me down right mad. How can they take our rights away like that. We fought for our freedoms. We lost our familys. We lost every thing if we've lost the right to vote. It will be a dictatorship! As Hitler!
