AC's 2009 Sexiest Men of 2009-The Pageant

Before anyone gets all worked up into a sweaty frenzy about me stealing Jennifer Wagner's idea, please listen closely. I have already anticipated your very concern. That is why I contacted Jennifer Wagner and let her know my intentions and asked if she would mind if I went ahead with this article. Fortunately for us all, she gave her stamp of approval and thus here is the finished article that hopefully you are enjoying.

I must give credit where credit is due. Jennifer Wagner started this train on October 26,2009 with her AC's Sexiest Men of 2009 article which was amazingly popular and for three days remained among the most commented upon pieces in the Associated Content vault of publications. I would not at all be surprised if it rises to that occasion again. Nancy Canfield teased several other Contributors into taking this train on different adventures. Abby Greenhill offered, A Sex Challenge. Frank Mucci presented, Little Known Facts about Halloween. Nancy Canfield penned, Partners in Perversesion. This brings us full circle as to why you are reading, AC's Sexiest Men-The Pageant.

Though all AC Contributors can cast ballots in the pageant that was described my AC's Sexiest Women of 2009 article, I sensed that many Contributors (women in particular) seemed to be chomping at the bit to cast similar ballots for the men of AC. Jennifer Wagner identified five of these leading men in her own article. In my reading through the ten pages or so of comments, many people seemed to like her selections. The question though is will her selections stand the test of a beauty pageant. That is the exactly the reason why this article exists. The rules of this pageant will be the same as first Annual Women's Sexiest Beauty Pageant with one exception. No ballot will count unless that Contributor leaves a verifiable comment on Jennifer Wagner's article, AC's Sexiest Men of 2009. The other specifics are noted below for your convenience..

I am pleased to announce that I will host the 2009 first Annual AC Sexiest Men's Pageant. If you would like to participate please send me a message with your ballot, which should consist of your top five selections with a sentence or two as to your reason. Participation is obviously voluntary, but all AC Contributors are eligible to submit one ballot. On each ballot the number one choice will receive five points. Number two will receive four points and so forth. The pageant polling will remain open until January 31, 2009 at 12:00AM EST. I will compile the statistics and on New Year's Eve, as close as possible to when the clock strikes 12AM EST to ring in the new year of 2010, I will publish the top five point earners with a bit of commentary.
