Now do you think these things are impossible? Are the scientists just scaring the crap out of us? You think you'll only see these things on the movie? Think again buddy, this is reality, and time is slowly running out. Horrible things such as natural disasters will snowball in the future unless we take action. Reality slaps us when we start to feel responsible saving the planet or dying with it.
In the past decade we start to see and feel disastrous problems hitting our planet but we still nonchalant to do something to change it, acting negligently as if our planet's resources are indestructible, acting as if the natural resources are unlimited, and behaving as if we are not responsible for what's happening around us. But what can we do?
A very good start in addressing these problems is to look at the factors that most of us posses and continuously use. Something that although providing us positive things, but the fact that it killed hundreds of people every year while destroying the environment through its hazardous byproduct, it is also one of the greatest inventions ever made in our modern life, and it is non other than the automobiles. The automobiles are one of the largest consumers of petroleum Oil and therefore one of the biggest culprits of air pollution that of course one factor of global warming. Each time we start that car running, we slowly bring the planet closer to its destruction. One of the biggest solutions is to use cars that are emission-free such as electric cars or solar powered cars. So far the production of such cars aren't on the top priorities of the oil-driven cars of the global automobile industries.
One positive sign that could also be considered as hope is a project that could somehow reduce or more ambitiously stop the overwhelming car emissions. A project called Auto Moto-Green Project. This is an ecological plan that's goal is to development alternative sources of energy for cars. It is quite possible but very difficult to attain because of the complexity that it can bring and the difficult task of restructuring the oil thirsty culture that we have right now. Many, including myself believe that we have to be firm and take significant actions to develop these kinds of alternatives to start the public be aware and responsible on the severity of our ecological problems and the ways to reduce air pollutions by using alternative source of energy for cars.
I'm certain that no one wants a dirty house to live. And no one wants to destroy his own house. So obviously we don't want a polluted planet that we also considered our only home. Time is ticking away before we self-destruct our only planet and our only home. I know there are lots of things we can do to save mother earth but it won't happen unless we act now.
