Buy them, rent them, savor them. If your Valentine loves romantic movies this is the perfect time to share one or more of these movies.
The Fifth Element
Very few people might think of The Fifth Element as a romantic movie, because it is a future-set film starring Bruce Willis. It is however, incredibly romantic, and amidst a harsh world of guns and sub-plots, Bruce Willis softens the screen with his feelings for themysterious and mesmerizing beautiful ingenue Milla Jovovich. The best part about The Fifth Element is that there is enough actual action in the film to keep a guy content while watching the film.
The Terminator
If you really pay attention to the storyline about Sarah Connor's future and the father of her child, you will fall in love with the a relationship that you will not see on film.John Connor loves her now, and she will love him in the future. It's almost painful to see, knowing that it will not end well for their relationship.
This may not be the best choice for Valentine's Day if it's your first one together. Some women may not immediately see the romantic elements of this film.
Grosse Pointe Blank
This is the perfect Valentine's Day movie for '80s fans or anyone who has ever asked for a second chance and got it. Full of '80s music and fun and witty dialogue, watching John Cusack try to woo back Minnie Driver 10 years after standing her up at the prom is incredibly entertaining. He is trying to quit being a hit man, is being pursued by other hit men, and still has time to attend the 10 year high school reunion.
Grosse Pointe Blank is a fun and romantic movie with a sense of adventure and witty dialogue.
Out of Sight
J. Lo and George Clooney trapped in the trunk of a car together. That's all you really need to know. He's a criminal, she's a cop, and they have an undeniable chemistry that shakes your very fiber when you see them together. The movie is romantic, action-packed, and smart.
A Knight's Tale
Jousting, knighting, fast horses, pretty girls and Queen. Queen? Yes, this anachronistic film makes use of songs like "We Will Rock You" to add a contemporary energy and sensibility to a period film. Heath Ledger is the would-be knight who is utterly smitten with a royal lady. There is enough comedy and action for him, and plenty of romantic moments for her.
Valentine's Day is about sharing, and spending time together, so why not watch a movie that you can both enjoy?

Post a CommentAgreed - but if its action movies for me you'd have to add anything Steven Segal, Sean Connery or Sylvester Stallone. Hot - very hot action films.
