Pools & Whirlpools
The Carnival Paradise has one large pool with a 114 foot slide that is three decks high. There are also a total of six whirlpools around the ship. On the Carnival Paradise there is an adult-only area with its own lounge chairs and hot tub. Volleyball and other organized games-like Water Wars Water Balloon-are played in the pool areas as part of the daily activities.
Sports Activities
The Carnival Paradise has a driving range on the ship which is lighted and covered. There are also lessons available through Elite Golf Cruises LLC, which use "V1" teaching computers to help get players ready for the course in Mexico they will be able to play on disembarkation. On the ship you can also play ping pong, miniature golf or shuffleboard. There is a jogging track around the ship and a basketball court.
Spa
The Carnival Spa experience is pampering for the whole body. The 12,000 square foot facility offers a choice of massages, body wraps and facials, utilizing aromatherapy. If you are looking for more body treatments, the spa on Carnival's Paradise has acupuncture, tooth whitening and waxing. Spa packages are available and there are steam rooms available. There is also a fitness center next to the spa, offering an assortment of exercise classes.
Shopping
The Carnival Paradise Gift Shops offer duty free shopping on board the ship. Here you will find everything from sun block to liquor and clothing. On days at sea, additional sales take place in ship common areas for items like art and jewelry.
Kids Clubs
The children's program on the Carnival Paradise is divided into three age groups: Camp Carnival is for two to 11 year olds; 12 to 14 year olds meet at Circle "C"; and Club 02 is for teenagers, 15 to 17 years old. Each of the groups has its own facility, with supervised activities all day in their center, at the pool and on the decks.
Casino & Lounges
There is a casino onboard the Carnival Paradise. Here you can play the slot machines or take a turn at the blackjack, poker, craps or roulette tables. There are shows every evening in the Queen Mary Lounge. You can also enjoy the piano bar or go dancing at Rex. There are a total of 12 bars and lounges on the Carnival Paradise.
Other Options
If you need a break from the activities, you can always hang out in the internet café; grab a bite from the endless selection of food in the dining room, 24-hour pizzeria or sushi bar; get your hair done in the salon; relax in the library; or take a nap in your cabin. Over 1,000 staterooms have amenities like plush robes and high quality bedding. There are also 54 suites available on this ship.
