Actor Jason Isaacs finds his niche in Showtime's series, Brotherhood -

Born in Liverpool,England in 1963 Jason Isaacs was the third of four children. Acting wasn't always what Jason thought he was destined for.He studied and attended Bristol University and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Law.His love though for theatre lead him to attend Central School of Speech and Drama graduating from there in 1989.While attending college he performed in over 20 plays.

Jason has been in over 30 films including Peter Pan playing the hateful sea-lover "Captain Hook",Armageddeon playing the "smartest man on the planet" Dr.Quincy,Sweet November playing the gay neighbor/best friend Chaz, and the Harry Potter series "evil-doer" Lucius Malfoy,he has also filled guest spots on tv series The West Wing,Entourage and Taggart and has done voice overs as well.

Jasons is most well known for playing villianess characters and his role as Lucuis Malfoy in the Harry Potter series put Jason in the spotlight. He took on the role of Lucuis and it became a second nature bringing the conviction into the scenes that it needed as the Death-Eater and head of "pure-blood" wizarding family. His presence as the spatted tounge sneaky Lucuis has gained him 1,000's of Harry Potter fans world wide.

Since 2006 Jason put on a new face and streamed full force into a new a new character in the dramatic/political/crime Showtime series Brotherhood. Playing a professional criminal invovled with New Englands Irish mob, the role of Michael Caffee has been where Jason has found his true niche.

The Showtime series Brotherhood revolves around two brohers Michael Caffee (Jason Isaacs) and Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) and their families and friends. The role of Tommy is a local politician trying to raise a family and keep his brother out of the eyes of the public as much as possible and the role of Michael is a criminal type mobster,he makes sure that his family is protected at all cost and that the "trash" is taken out.

Jason Issacs really brings a meaningful insight of power, prestige and loyalty to his role as Michael Caffee.Since acting pofessionally from 1988 to present he has finally found perfection in a role that seems to be custom made for him. With 22 episodes of Brotherhood fastened tight under his belt it seems that the series has the definite makings of lasting quite awhile and with Jason as a front man the future of Brotherhood has truly made it's mark.
