Actor Ron Lester Gets a Defender Lesson from Peter Brusso
Ron Lester Survives a Defender Self Defense Tool Lesson
Ron Lester contacted Brusso about his Defender. Soon after, Lester excitedly hit the road to broadcast his show live at Brusso's combat compound, located at the fabled Salton Sea, CA. Maybe Lester had a hint at what was in store for him, because the dependable actor arrived late at Master Brusso's compound. Maybe his tardiness was reason for Brusso to not hold back in Lester's brutal instruction. Anyway, once things got rocking and rolling, it got decidedly interesting - or just plain loud.
Peter Brusso is known for no nonsense, no holds barred style of martial arts, especially when it comes to self defense. Brusso's philosophy is simple: To learn practical self defense, one must experience it. If it works, it's gonna hurt. And boy, did Hollywood actor Ron Lester learn his lesson! The sounds emanating from Lester, as the nimble Brusso moved, grooved and played his body like a harp from hell, must be heard to be believed. Even then, one might think Lester employed his considerable acting skills to convince listeners that every fiber of him throbbed in agony. The fact that Lester's Defender lesson was also video taped, not only documents the thrilling session for posterity, it removes any doubt as to the authenticity of Brusso's Defender.
Hollywood churns out fiction, fantasy and fairy tales. Today's 3D blockbusters like Avatar and Alice In Wonderland from Tim Burton, merely simulate reality. They fool us into thinking we're somewhere doing something. Actor Ron Lester feels at home in Hollywood fakery, but what he screamed during, and after Peter Brusso's lesson in practical pain, was "Man, I know professional wrestlers and boxers, and real tough guys, but Peter you've got them beat!"
Yes, Peter Brusso is the real deal, like his Defender. Listen to Ron Lester become a believer here: Ron Lester Radio. Be warned: It's a laugh out loud example of a man experiencing the shock and awe of the Defender. Don't eat or drink while it plays, or you'll spray your PC and all around you, as belly laughs fly out amid Ron Lester's howling yelps of pain.
