Actress Ashlyn Dixon Hospitalized with Food Poisoning

Ashlyn Dixon Suffered from Severe Dehydration, Following Her Greatgrandmother's Funeral

Actress Ashlyn Dixon, star of the Sci Fi Series, "Paranormal" suffered from severe dehydration after attending her Great grandmother's funeral earlier this week. Dixon was diagnosed with food poisoning Monday March 5, 2007 at the Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was staying at the home of her Grandparents, John and Cleatha Jones while attending the funeral services. Miss Dixon was released from the hospital, the next day.
Following the funeral services, the family attended a luncheon at the local church. Twelve members of the family, including Miss Dixon, were treated for symptoms related to food poisoning.
Dixon is scheduled to return to the film set of "Paranormal" at the end of the week, however she is planning to postpone her return until her she has regained her strength. Producer, Kip Shelton of "Paranormal" agrees with Dixon and her agent. They want her to be at 100% health, before filming resumes. Miss Dixon will be making public appearances at "The Stellar Honors" and "The Genesis Awards" both held at the end of March, in Los Angeles. She will also be attending the 30th Birthday Bash for Brian Tee (Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift) on March 16th.
Ashlyn Dixon is known for her roles in "X Men 3," "Miriam" and "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."
